Most employers look on Twitter and Facebook for job applicants. The most effective applications are: Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, an online portfolio, and a blog. One in five employers search social networking sites for information about the job applicants. A person's email address also has an influence on the hiring process because what they have on there email can influence if they can get the job they applied for/hiring process. Teachers should teach students about digital footprint because what they do or put on the web could possibly affect them in a big way.[1]
